Se Poate Association's Commitment to Active Citizenship and Sustainable Development
Se Poate Association (ASP) (translated in English “It’s Possible”) was founded in 2014 as a non-profit/non-governmental organization that aims to involve the youth and young adults from our local community as active and responsible citizens. Se Poate offers a range of services that cover various areas including Education and Training, Project Design and Development, Thematic Research, International Mobility. These services are provided in the sectors of Youth, Adults, VET, and Sport.
Se Poate’s members work in specialized teams to design, develop, and execute international projects related to research, innovation, and exchange of good practices. These projects are often realized through seminars or training courses. The organization includes experienced trainers and facilitators, who hold Salto accreditation and are keen to participate in the implementation of proposed projects.
Our objectives are to enhance and facilitate the integration of young individuals into society and the workforce, foster the cultivation of civic competencies and active citizenship, promote the adoption of responsible and sustainable environmental practices, emphasize the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and encourage active involvement in non-formal education opportunities.
Vision of Se Poate envisions a society where young individuals are actively involved in creating positive change, promoting social inclusion, and adopting responsible and sustainable practices.
Mission of Se Poate’s mission is to empower young individuals by providing them with opportunities to develop their personal and professional skills, promoting active citizenship, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. We aim to achieve this mission by offering a range of educational and training services, promoting cooperation and exchange of good practices, and providing a safe and welcoming environment for young people to gather, socialize, and engage in activities.
The organization is highly involved in working with youth, its members and volunteers being students and young people actively involved in their community life. We contribute to shaping a harmonious life perspective for young people through non-formal education and promoting a friendly approach to the issues of employability among young people and through activities and projects on environmental protection. The main values that we promote are equal opportunities, active citizenship, team spirit, tolerance, respect and care for the environment. Through these activities we determine and stimulate young people’s openness to volunteering their awareness and motivation on protecting nature and forming ecologically conscious behaviors, thus promoting a responsible ecological and civic attitudes and behaviors.
Starting with the the New ErasmusPlus Programme 2021-2027, Asociatia Se Poate has attained the Youth Accreditation certification. Accreditation in the field of youth represents the opportunity for the active participation of young people in economic, social and cultural life; it provides access to training and socio-professional development opportunities for multiple categories of beneficiaries, including vulnerable groups.
Furthermore, Asociatia Se Poate obtain accreditation from the Ministry of Education, through the Romanian National Authority for Qualifications to host and prepare accredited courses of entrepreneurship.Therefore, starting with October 2020, Asociatia Se Poate provides people with the skills they need to successfully start, manage, or improve their own business.
Also, we are accredited in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program and we can receive young people from Europe that want to develop in the field of Entrepreneurship for up to 6 months. The internship is paid by the European Union.

Empowering Global Youth Through Intercultural Experiences
Through our national and international projects, we offer young people intercultural experiences that contribute to their personal and social development.
The friendly approach to issues such as employability, environmental protection, equal opportunities, active citizenship, tolerance and respect between people globally, all lead to a healthy long-term vision of young people, a vision focused on a continuous desire to evolve.
Sport and culture must be taken to another level so we want to contribute to their development and promotion beyond the borders of the country!

Anamaria Moisa, is the president of the SE POATE NGO. She mainly works as EU project manager, holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and European Studies, as well as a Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management. Her responsibilities encompass project monitoring, project management, idea development, and overseeing the team of project managers within the Association. She has actively participated in the research phase of EU projects and was officially accredited as a Trainer in 2021. With her expertise and problem-solving abilities, she provides full support to organizational activities.
Valeria-Maria Paraschiva is an EU project manager with a diverse educational background. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Psychology in the Field of National Security. Valeria has undergone several nationally accredited training courses, including Public Relations and Communication Assistant, Resources Inspector, Participant Entrepreneurial Training Programme, and trainer courses. Her main responsibilities include project management, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, managing financial resources, implementing and evaluating training programs, and mentoring volunteers/students. In addition to her project management roles, Valeria has served as a trainer for over 100 courses, conducted workshops for children on financial education, and provided vocational counseling and career guidance to students at the University of Brasov.
Theodora Ana-Maria Sandu is a student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration of University of Bucharest. Alongside her academic pursuits, she actively contributes to the student community through her involvement in the Student Union of Romania, one of the largest national student organizations. Within the union, Theodora serves in both the Human Resources Department and the Communication Department. From her participation in the Training of Trainer program offered by the Student Union of Romania, she acquired valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in facilitating various types of trainings and workshops in subjects such as Project Management, Project Design, Time Management, Communication, Marketing and Desinformation, Fake News and Media Literacy. Within Se Poate Association, Theodora holds the position of Project Manager at CERV Projects. Moreover, she undertakes significant responsibilities related to recruitment and human resources management.
Georgiana Surdulescu is the dedicated Administrative Assistant at our NGO, where she expertly manages the intricate administrative tasks related to both legal and financial aspects. With extensive experience in national projects like POCU and POCA, Georgiana brings a wealth of knowledge and precision to her role. Her keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills ensure that all administrative processes run smoothly, supporting the overall success of our projects and initiatives.
Cristina Voican, a 21-year-old student in her third year at the Faculty of Biotechnical Systems Engineering, is specializing in Applied Informatics in Environmental Engineering. While she is deeply immersed in a technical discipline, her true passion lies in NGO work and volunteer coordination, where she finds fulfillment in working with people. Through her active involvement in both the student association and the Se Poate association, Cristina is continually refining her leadership and communication skills. Volunteering not only allows her to give back to society and repay the support she has received, but also enables her to contribute to creating a nurturing environment that empowers the growth and development of other young people.
