Mini-Report on Fake News in Poland, Latvia and Romania

We are pleased to announce a significant step in the Erasmus+ project “Media Literacy – The Key to Critical Thinking”: the project result has been completed and published – Mini-Report on Fake News in Poland, Latvia and Romania .

This publication is the culmination of intensive cross-border cooperation within (WP2) and is based on in-depth analysis and practical strategies developed during the training for adult educators held in Saulkrasti, Latvia (1-6 September 2025) .

The Latvian partner, Latvijas jauniesu attistibas centrs, had the honor of hosting 12 adult educators who shared their knowledge on the challenges of disinformation during interactive workshops and the Digital Safari, among other events.

Building on this experience, the Fake News Mini-Report not only offers a comparative analysis of specific manifestations of media manipulation in the three partner countries but also provides concrete, easy-to-use recommendations and training models. It serves as a key resource for adult educators seeking to strengthen critical thinking and effectively combat fake news. We are proud of this significant contribution to promoting media literacy across Europe.
