The fourth year of Asociația Se Poate’s Erasmus+ accreditation, spanning from late 2024, all the way to the end of 2025, marked a vibrant period of growth, collaboration, and creative exchange. Through five international mobilities (three youth exchanges, one professional training course, and one study visit) we continued to expand our mission of empowering young people and youth workers through meaningful, non-formal learning.
A1 – December 2-10: Day to Green Life (Bușteni, Romania)
Our fourth year began with “Day to Green Life”, a youth exchange dedicated to sustainable living and environmental responsibility. Hosted in Bușteni, Romania, the project encouraged participants to reflect on their daily habits and explore eco-friendly alternatives.
Workshops focused on green innovation, teamwork, and the connection between nature and well-being. Through practical sessions, creative challenges, and community-based learning, participants discovered how collective action can inspire positive environmental change. The exchange fostered ecological awareness and strengthened participants’ commitment to sustainability as a shared European value.
A2 – March 15–23, 2025: Y4EU – Youth for European Unity (Predeal, Romania)
In April, Se Poate hosted “Y4EU – Youth for European Unity”, a youth exchange designed to promote solidarity, cultural understanding, and democratic participation. Participants from several European countries worked together to explore what unity means in today’s Europe and how young people can actively contribute to a more inclusive society.
Through debates, intercultural evenings, and creative workshops, they built bridges across differences and developed joint initiatives promoting tolerance and active citizenship. The project celebrated diversity as a strength and encouraged participants to act as ambassadors of European cooperation and peace in their communities.
May 8–14, 2025 – A3: Disconnect to Reconnect (El Arenal, Spain)
Early summer took the Se Poate team to Palma de Mallorca, Spain, for the youth exchange “Disconnect to Reconnect”. This project explored the growing influence of technology on mental health and social relationships.
Through experiential learning, sport, and mindfulness-based sessions, participants reflected on the importance of balancing online and offline life. Activities like The Attention Market and The Social Media Symposium encouraged critical thinking about digital behavior and the value of authentic, face-to-face interaction. The exchange helped young people strengthen their self-awareness, digital well-being, and interpersonal skills, creating a healthier connection to themselves and others.
July 23–31, 2025 – A4: Innovation in Action – Facilitating with Non-Formal Power (Predeal, Romania)
Mid-summer was dedicated to professional development through the training course “Innovation in Action: Facilitating with Non-Formal Power”. Hosted in Predeal, Romania, the course gathered youth workers and educators eager to enhance their facilitation skills and creativity in non-formal education.
Sessions such as The Erasmus+ Challenge, The Name Scramble, and Innovation Labs combined theory with practice, focusing on inclusive facilitation, active methods, and innovation in youth work. Participants shared best practices, designed new learning activities, and improved their ability to lead diverse groups with empathy and confidence.
The training reinforced Se Poate’s commitment to professionalizing youth work and fostering a European network of skilled facilitators capable of inspiring young people through experiential learning.
July 29 – August 6, 2025 – A5: MentorArt – Empowering Youth Workers to Develop Community-Based Cultural Events (Erchie, Italy)
The year concluded in Erchie, Italy, with “MentorArt”, a study visit focused on the intersection of art, culture, and community engagement. Implemented in partnership with Amnesty Bisceglie and Euro Youth Messina, the project allowed youth workers to explore how cultural expression can serve as a tool for inclusion, empowerment, and local development.
Participants took part in sessions such as Human Map – Stories That Brought Us Here, Meet the Movement, and Change Needs a Campaign, each blending creative reflection with practical skill-building. They exchanged best practices on organizing community events, designing cultural initiatives, and fostering participation through art.
By the end of the visit, participants left inspired to integrate artistic and civic approaches into their own organizations, building stronger, more connected communities across Europe.
From green living and European unity to digital well-being, facilitation, and cultural empowerment, 2025 stood as a testament to Asociația Se Poate’s holistic approach to youth development.
This fourth year of accreditation reaffirmed our belief that innovation in youth work grows through collaboration across borders, cultures, and disciplines. Together with our partners and participants, we turned ideas into actions that continue to shape a more inclusive, creative, and sustainable Europe.
